After dedicating to my life to Jesus several years ago, I have found myself falling deeper and deeper in love with His beauty.  I most appreciate His forgiving heart and compassion.

I knew the Lord as a child, however, I saw Him as a stern father figure who I had to work hard to please.  In that effort, I always came up short.

What I am learning now, is that He loves me just as I am.   When I give Him an opportunity, He shows me how to love myself as He does…unconditionally.   When I do that, I am more open to loving others in the same forgiving, gentle and kind way.

I believe that the process of faith begins in the heart, but that it’s maintained by our thoughts; those small intangible components of our lives that bear great influence on our words, actions, and even beliefs. They are like little seeds that when allowed to take root and bloom will manifest into a tree of life or hardship.  We can often tell which thoughts we nurtured by the fruit they yield in their developed state.

Imagine how powerful and peaceful a life we would live if we kept our thoughts aligned with the mind of Christ.  I believe we would find ourselves engulfed in the promises of  the peace of God the disciple Paul spoke about in Philippians 4:8 – 9, which reads:

8 “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate (think on) these things.

9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do and the God of peace will be with you.”  (NKJV)

As Paul insinuated, we have control over our thoughts and by nurturing the right ones, we will benefit from a powerful tool to help protect and strengthen our walk with God… in essence, we will be protecting our seeds of faith.  Hence, the goal and aim of this blog is to offer messages that spawn anointed thoughts – thoughts that help people stay steadfast in their faith or be encouraged in seeking a  deeper relationship with God through His son, Jesus.

The posts on the Anointed Thoughts blog will be supported by scripture.  While I will be the main author posting to this blog, other trusted Christian women may author an article from time to time.   Your comments and feedback are welcome, so please post them freely.

With Gratitude,
